My intention is to post an illustrated review of the 3.6 Million Revolutions for Justice Bike Tour in the next week or two. The main update I want to leave you with, for now, is that I made it back home to Portland last Friday evening (August 27) after spending a few days relaxing on the Oregon Coast.
Being anxious to get back to Portland for various of reasons, I did the 110-mile trip from Nehalem Bay State Park (just south of Manzanita, OR) in one day. That set a new personal single day distance record for me.
I came into town through the forested West Hills of Portland, riding down a steep descent on Germantown Rd, and then crossing over the scenic Saint Johns Bridge. It was the perfect ending to the trip.
Please stay tuned for the tour recap.
